Udaan Dekeling Resort Darjeeling

"The property was well maintained and 15mins walking distance to the mall road. The rooms was nicely done with modern style, although more wardrobe space could be given. The Balcony view was amazing, with Singalila national park on the left and the might Mt. Kanchenjunga on the right. The restaurant was fully vegetarian, which was great for us, with amazing breakfast buffet options, lunch, snacks and dinner choices. The food was amazing. The staff, specially Abhinay at the Reception and Krishan in the restaurant took great care of us. The whole staff was polite, courteous and always asked if we needed anything during the stay."

"The property is located right on the main street with easy access to public transport, mainly taxis. The valley looking room had excellent views. The restaurant and their staff offered excellent service, and the food was good and reasonably priced. It had an excellent view as well. It was off-season; therefore, we would be the only couple sitting in the restaurant mostly. We had an early morning start on check out, and they gave us packed breakfast. The gym is small and not much in terms of amenities. Overall, it was a good hotel for its bracket and price, and we had a pleasant and comfortable stay."

Sterling Darjeeling

"Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling Darjeeling."

"The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people."

"Host Sunny is very kind and hospitable. He went out of his way to help me in many ways. The property is lovely, high above the city in the forest and a nice walk to the Bird Park and Rabdentse. Very nice in every way. "
