"We were really positively surprised with the hotel. We booked it randomly shortly before our stay and the price was quite reasonable for us (family of 5). We didn't expect much since we simply needed a base near Colmar. Quite family friendly, perfectly located (15 min by bike to Colmar), but nicely isolated from the tourist crowds. Perfect place to stay with family and to explore surroundings."

"Booked 2 rooms, one room the shower is not draining properly. Breakfast is very basic. Second room no curtains, my sister requested to put one but they said they don’t have it.. our last day we requested to have 7:30 breakfast as we have to travel and the lady said no. So we ended up no breakfast and left the hotel. Mind you the breakfast starts from 7-9 but we couldn’t have it 7:30 so doesn’t make sense.. "

"Had the most wonderful stay at 1834&Spa
Perfectly located to the centre.
Loved the fact the hotel had a spa which had the most amazing facilities in which was perfect for a relaxation after the long walking days.
Will be back very very soon.
As Colmar and the accommodation have it all in the bucket fulls.
