"It was not at all what we thought it was from the pictures, but it was one of the most quiet places I've ever stayed. Peaceful! It offers incredible proximity to Blue Mesa. The staff was some of the nicest I ever come across and very helpful. Overall, I'd definitely stay again in the future."
"Check in staff was very friendly.
Room was very comfortable and clean. Pet-friendly!
Only negative was our bathroom door caught on doorframe and would "pop" when opened, waki g up family if used at night.
Room was nicely decorated.
Would definitely stay again."

I love Gunnison. Great place to stay if you're looking to save a buck when visiting CB or Lake City. Food options are plentiful. The Dive was a great American eatery and Patcheree's had some of the best Thai I've ever eaten!

The downtown Gunnison area, a short one-mile drive, hosts many restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, and clothing stores, and there is no shortage of activities.

Gunnison is a beautiful sleepy town. Interesting stores, and wonderful places to eat. Friendly people and very safe and clean. But the beauty is the reason to go visit. Worth the drive!!

A good place to go for those interested in outdoor recreation. The winters are on the lengthy side, so fair-weather folks may want to visit during summer.

Apparently Gunni is best in summer and fall. Not very pretty in winter, and Crested Butte is about the only thing to do in winter.

Downtown was fun to visit. El Paraiso had excellent margaritas and food.
"We have visited the hot springs before but this was our first time staying there. We loved it! Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and modern. The food from Mary’s steakhouse was delicious and not too too expensive (our last trip was to Disney so it was refreshing to not be price-gouged!). It was so nice to have early entry to the hot springs in the morning too. "
"Wonderful staff - when I had trouble with the dryer, the manager was friendly and understanding. Even though it was early evening she called the maintenance guy who came promptly and helped me out with a smile. "
"The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders.
One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature in the room. One of us slept well, while the other woke up feeling hot. If you prefer a cooler sleeping environment, consider bringing a portable fan—and don’t forget an extension cord.
Overall, we would definitely stay here again."
