Gunnison - Crested Butte hotel rooms a the Kimpton Hotels

"There was no one at the hotel when I arrived. I had to call someone who directed me to pick up a key off the front desk. I had requested a room with a view. What I got was room 103, first floor with a view of the parking lot. The toilet was not functional, the room was dismal at best. There was no one to ask for help. I was the only person on property, which was also very disconcerting. The following morning someone had set out an envelop for me for a different room, presumably an upgrade, but I was scheduled to check out that morning... so that was weird. Again, no one on property except the breakfast attendant. I explained my dilemma to her. She tried to reach a manager or other hotel staff and was also not able to reach anyone. I would never ever recommend this place. I would have felt safer at the Bates Motel. "

"The inn was very comfortable and very close to the bus stop and the supermarket and most of the restaurants were a 10 minute walk. The staff was friendly and helpful, well done folks, thank you"

"The unit is old and dated. The bed was hard and sheets were scratchy. There weren’t enough covers on the bed either. I liked this unit having a dog. Easy to get in and out. "

"The building is historic but perfectly updated. Breakfast is excellent with a freshly made main course and superb additional items. The main floor is very comfortable and inviting. And finally the location is two blocks off the street that has all the restaurants and stores "

"Great location and an exceptionally comfortable room. It was our second stay here. Unfortunately, there was an EDM concert in the lowest level of the property (a bar). It was loud until well after midnight. "

"They change us from the plaza to condos called evergreen. It was dated. Coffee or leaked dishwasher didn’t work properly. And there was a fake fireplace instead of a real one "
