I would have given this hotel a perfect 5 star rating, but unfortunately the bedroom window (Room #7) faced a separate residential house that had many very loud and annoying dogs that barked every day from 6am to 12pm without stopping. "Minakamikan is a great place to Stay, Clean and bright interior. Onsen was very nice, rooms have been keep in top shape, with new fresh tatami mats, clean walls, etc. Buffett breakfast had a lot of choices, Japanese and some western items. Wi-Fi in lobby only. free transport to and from Minakami station can be arranged."
