"A little difficult to find the road up to the place but a wonderful location with great views. It’s out of town so if you’re not dining there you’ll need to drive to one of the many local restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is actually closed in a Monday and Tuesday which was a pity as we were looking forward to a nice evening meal. The wine on offer is amazing as you would have guessed. Breakfast was very good but we were initially asked to pay although it said it was included at the time of booking. The helpful staff soon sorted this. Overall a great place to stay."

"The view on the front cafe is amazing. The trucks are a bit distracting and loud but a nice glass of wine can help that be bearable. It was unusually hot in Germany while we were there, so the A/C was very important and welcome. The breakfast was good especially the bread.Berries ( especially in May)and bananas would be a nice addition. I'd also have liked more local wines."
