Gulf Islands National Seashore hotel rooms a the La Quinta Inn & Suites

"Poolside was a wonderful view of the gulf on the other hand those lovebugs were terrible they were all over everyone creating an impossible relaxing day"

"It was great for the price. Definitely an older motel that has been renovated. Wish they had a hot tub for when the pool is cold. Parking lot gets pretty full, but that's normal for the strip. Beds were fairly comfy, but very squeaky. Shower could use some updates. I reserved a 2nd floor room with a bay view, but we were put on a first floor room with a view of the parking lot and a noisy bar next door. Housekeeping only comes if you request it before 8am"

"The pool was very nice and the view was beautiful! Breakfast was pretty good too! However, upon check in our room did smell like smoke. The shower also had pretty low water pressure and the water sometimes would not get hot."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but not walking around barefoot clean. The beds were comfortable. The room had a medium size refrigerator and there were several grills in the courtyard that could be used. The bathroom vent fan didn’t work very well, but that was a minute issue. Not much to choose from for breakfast, but the coffee was quite good."

"Location of property is very good as is overall property. Stayed in suite which I think is well worth extra money but furniture in main area of suite I feel could use updating. Have stayed here many times and will come back again. "

"Just an average room that served purpose of inexpensive rate for just one night. Would not recommend for extended stay and not for children. "

"Breakfast was fabulous, Staff was very nice, unfortunately the floor in the room was very dirty, I don’t know how often they mop but it was sticky. Bring slippers for the room."
