Top Gulf Coast Hotel Reviews

Radisson Beachfront Hotel - Panama City Beach
6/10 Okay
"Our room could have used a some repairs."

Boardwalk Beach Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Dont listen to the poor reviews. It might not be the most clean property but, considering everything gets all wet and sandy due to literally being in the beach it’s great! Great property if you enjoy the water. Can access the beach 24/7. restaurant was good and pool was clean and refreshing. Gulf view from the 3rd floor was nothing less than breathtaking. We might have found our yearly vacation destination. "

Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing at every turn!"

Crowne Plaza New Orleans French Qtr - Astor by IHG
4/10 Poor
"First, let me start by commending Expedia for attempting to accommodate me for having a last-minute family emergency and trying to coordinate changing my trip dates directly with the hotel, with no communication or support from the hotel. At check-in I tried to explain the situation and asked what my options were, and I told to figure it out, which I did in the lobby while I had a sick husband at home to try to get home to.
When I checked in, I was charged more than my Expedia receipt with no explanation from the front desk staff.
My room was filthy. I have pictures of old toothpaste on the pillows, a dirty sink and bathtub that had not been cleaned, and a tv remote that had crumbs and a filmy substance all over it. The room never got below 75 degrees even with adjusting the thermostat.
Needless to say, I will never stay here again."

Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa
2/10 Terrible
"Not worth the expense "

Palmetto Beachfront Hotel, a By the Sea Resort
10/10 Excellent
"My spouse and I stayed here for two days during our trip to Panama City, and overall we had a good time. The place itself was nice, clean, and we enjoyed our stay for the most part. However, there were a few issues that really affected our experience and are important for other travelers to know.
First, they do not accept Chime, which was frustrating. Chime is a legitimate bank, and that should be made clear ahead of time so people can plan accordingly. That caused unnecessary inconvenience when we arrived.
Second, the room did not match what we booked. We specifically chose a room with a tub, but when we got there, there was no tub at all. The pictures online are a bit misleading because they don’t always reflect the actual room you’ll get, so that’s something to be aware of.
Most importantly, my wife is wheelchair-bound, and there was no proper shower accessibility in the room. That made things very difficult for us. Accessibility should not be overlooked, and I really feel like that needs to be better communicated and accommodated.
Like I said, we did enjoy parts of our stay, but these issues made a big impact. I would just advise future guests to double-check details about payment methods, room features, and accessibility before booking. It’s a decent place, but based on this experience, I’m not sure if we would return."

Beachside Resort Panama City Beach
4/10 Poor
"Was supposed to have ocean view instead I got a room that had a tiny window high up like it was a closet they turned into a room. Dirty hair all over the sink toilet paper in the toilet that was not mine when I arrived! Pictures do not match what the property actually is like "

The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach

"Everything was clean, shout out to Tarsha in housekeeping she was very helpful and friendly! Enjoyed the bars and restaurant. Friendly staff, beautiful view of the beach and would recommend this property 100%. "

The Pensacola Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The beach is beautiful and close, the staff is hospitable, the area is not too crowded, we loved the Salty Rose as it was comfortable, casual, with great food and service. The Bay view is gorgeous. "
