"I’ve been staying at the Doubletree (this location) for over 10 years, but this was definitely my last visit! Upon arrival I had already did a check in on my phone. They still require me to come to front desk, but when I got into the hotel, the lobby was filled with people trying to check in so there was a wait, once I got onto the elevator to head to my room, I noticed that it was going very slow about 30 minutes into my trip there I went down to get ice from the ice machine. I got on the elevator to head back to my room. The elevator went up about 10 floors and then, I heard a message saying elevator is shutting down. The lights went dark and it just stopped!!! Two other guest was on with me. We were stuck on the elevator for about 40 minutes. We were unable to call for emergency help once the elevator shut down. I had to call the front lobby with my phone, she was nice but she was not helpful. She said she would let the maintenance man know to reset the elevator. She did stay on the phone until the maintenance guy found us. Oce the elevator started back she just hung up on me no compensation no sorry! I will definitely not stay here again!"
