"No complaints other than my husband went to ER on first day with heart issues and has to have surgery on Monday. My hotel stay was up the 24th and I called to extend my stay and the person on phone said he could not help me I had to go back through expedia to extend my stay. I said cant I just book a new stay through you directly and he refused to help me. Mind you I am from Kansas and now we are having to stay 2-3 additional weeks for open heart surgery and to recover enough for the drive home. I ended up going to the hotel next door and they helped me with no problem so now I have a place to stay while my husband remains in the hospital. Lack of empathy and willing to help an out of state traveler facing a scary medical time with my husband was shocking to me. Did they not really not care enough to help a scared out of town wife who was worrying about losing her husband and being alone far from home and no support system in Florida???"

"Absolutely Amazing Stay! Our stay at Hyatt House Destin was amazing from beginning to end! Everything was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and gave us exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the things I especially loved was the location. Being conveniently close to James Lee Beach Access made it so easy to enjoy the beach without having to travel far. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at Hyatt House Destin again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Destin! 🏖️🌊🕶️"
