"This is the place to stay if you're coming to New Orleans to access the New Orleans Passport Center. It's in a conjoined building attached to the hotel and you barely need to walk outside from the hotel to access it. It's also convenient to the French Quarter and the streetcar routes. The amenities in the Expedia package, which included daily passes for the streetcars and the guided tour of the French quarter, were appreciated. The Observatory 11 bar provides a great view of the river. The breakfast prices were, frankly, quite high, although the food was quite good but there are other breakfast places close by. Overall, we were happy with our stay there."

"We loved our four night stay here! Once we arrived, we had no need to leave. Everything we needed for a relaxing vacation was on the property. The large suite was very clean and roomy. The staff was very accommodating. We were able to get a very late 3 pm checkout just by asking for it. The beach view was incredible. I enjoyed the clean, private beach and took advantage of the beach umbrella and chair rental service each day. The pool was clean and there were plenty of chairs and towels. The attendant inflates floaties! Tip him! The coffee shop offered delicious donuts and yummy breakfast burritos. We didn’t try drinks from the hotel’s bar, the lunch offerings at the on site restaurant, or the hot tub. Because we had a suite with a kitchenette, it was easy for me to cook meals for us each evening. The suite also worked great for me as a single mom traveling with my teen son who wanted to stay up all night. He could use the hotel Wi-Fi for his PC games in the sitting area while I slept behind the closed door of the bedroom area. The next morning he slept in while I went about my morning routine. It worked out well for us! I didn’t use the laundry facilities, but did observe the one machine available is centrally located and newer/clean. Parking was ample. The elevator is quite busy but the stairs are manageable. Staff is constantly cleaning the common areas. This place is very well maintained and well worth every penny! We loved our stay and hope to return."

"The kids loved the pool but we felt there were not enough umbrellas to protect from the heat and sun. The coffee shop was understaffed and had run out of most breakfast foods at 08:00 on a Saturday in July."

"Breakfast was nice, hot , many options. It was pet- friendly, and close to the beach , But the other side, the pool needed to be filtered ,kind of cloudy water .Nice pool area chairs and loungers mature trees The hallways needed to be vacuumed and swept. Smoking area could use some attention: sand for the pots used for butts. The room was clean and stocked with towels etc blow dryer/ ironing board/iron , the air conditioner was working the best it could at the 100 temps."
