"Chateau Tilques is in a lovely setting and easy to find. Our Deluxe room was in the chateau and was spacious and comfortable with a view of the lawns from a large window. The Comfort rooms are separate from the main building, as is the dining room and
pool.
We were slightly irritated that although we had booked dinner and had it confirmed via Expedia, on arrival we were told the time we had booked was not available.
The reception staff were apologetic and tried to help but it was an unfortunate...

"Stayed for one night, after crossing the tunnel from the UK. Arrived at 8.30pm, check-in was relatively simple at the bar as after reception opening hours. Only the receptionist (at reception) spoke english though so there was a language barrier elsewhere. Room was aet over 2 floors. Rooms are all accessed from outside. On ground foor there's a hall, WC, showerroom, and bedrooom with 2 beds (able to be pushed together. From the hall, there is a staircase to a mezzanine with 3 beds upstairs....

"This hotel has an amazing restaurant the food was superb. The staff friendly and helpful and took time to get to know us and made great food recommendations. To be fair we normally have a bar meal which are also good, but next time we will be visiting the restaurant, extremely good value. There is an on site
pool, take away, shop and bar all set in well cared for grounds of the beautiful chateau. The hotel room was a good size and had a huge bathroom with everything you needed and more. "

"I love using this hotel, and have done many times. It’s perfectly placed just 10 minutes from driving off the Eurotunnel train and is more up market and, in my opinion, better located than the other budget hotels in the area.
