"The room was not exactly clean, the towels had some stains on them which we didn't have the stomach to use, the bed sheets also had some stains, but we thought it was fine until the towels, as it did seem washed, but still stained. The room does NOT have a window, the place smelled AWFUL! We ended up buying an air freshener for the place, it didn't help much. There was one small window that we couldn't reach, but we felt it was outrageous that it was never mentioned there wouldn't be normal...

"Clint was super-helpful, communicative and hugely accommodating. The room was beautiful and well-maintained, with a fantastic roof terrace. The decor was stunning. Zurrieq is a sleepy little location but came alive during festival - if going in late August make sure you’re ok with fireworks hahaha. Ten minutes by cab from the airport and half an hour from Valletta. Definitely would come back off-season when it’s not hotter than the surface of the sun!"

"We had a really lovely stay! The room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice, and all the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is perfect. The 3 pools were great too, really enjoyed spending time there. A fantastic stay. Would definitely recommend."

"Stayed in mid October for a week. Purchased the signature suite. Pros: spa massages and facials were excellent, staff was always friendly and did their best to help, breakfast was good although always the same, rooftop pool was excellent. You can walk to the marina and shops easily. Cons: Always Book Ahead, They use an app for this when you get there and the staff seems new to it right now. The beds are stiff as a brick. Some prefer this? The views in pictures are a bit misleading but that’s marketing for ya. A LOT of constant construction around but not much noise? Sea view is not the sea view more like a sea angle. As a hotel I would give it a 8.5, as a honeymoon spot probably a 7"

"The room was very clean and a good size. It did appear that finishing touches were needed regarding the ceiling and fixing of patio doors. Also the road entrance is not finished and it's quite a steep step up yo the main doors. The staff were happy to help with any questions we had and were very polite and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful but the room was quite small and the seating was very close together which made it tricky to get in and out of the chairs. We didn't sit out on the balcony as our view wasn't particularly pleasant as we were overlooking many sides and back of high buildings. I do feel the hotel although quite basic is value for money"
