"There was no air conditioning allowed in our room and most of the hotel and there was maintenance work going on around the hotel we were not informed about prior to our stay."

"Although the hotel is only a short distance from the airport, it is not in the flight path so days spent by the rooftop pool are blissfully quiet. The hotel is very well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. All members of staff are charming, helpful and extremely welcoming. The rooms are lovely with fully equipped bathrooms and spacious balconies."

"The hotel’s location is fair. If you want to go to the beach, it takes about a 15–20 minute walk. The breakfast is good, with a nice selection of food. The room and bed are comfortable, making the stay pleasant overall."

"Very clean and well presented room, housekeeping staff were helpful, didn’t interact with anyone else. Didn’t try any of the food. Hotel was very nice, shame about the boards of young teens there, they made a hell of a racket throughout the late evening. The hotel was in an amazing location, central to almost everything you could want. Free WiFi (although not the best signal). Would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Guardamar with everything on it's doorstep. From the Reception staff to their Housekeeping, from the Bar Staff to their varied menus absolutely everything was excellent. The room was very comfortable, free WFI and TV with 3 English channels plus a fridge. A kettle was available if requested at Reception. Nothing was too much trouble. A lovely solarium with plenty of beds. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again"

"The actual dates of our stay were April10-12. Despite the fact that the parking lot is enclosed by a gated fence, my wife's tote bag was stolen from the back seat of the car while she was sitting in the front passenger seat. This took place during the time that I was at the registration desk. Staff downloaded the parking lot video which clearly shows the thief grabbing the bag and then running through a pedestrian gate which was being held open by an accomplice. The onsite staff were very helpful and if not for this unfortunate incident, I would have given the hotel an overall "Excellent" rating. Sadly, it was a very unpleasant end to an otherwise wonderful 2 and one-half month stay in Spain. "
