3 night's in Guanajuato

Enjoyed our stay...but apart from one night we seemed to be the only ones there. Lots of character to the hotel..but rooms are on many levels so lots of stairs...also many down to the breakfast room / restaurant...wouldn't suit anyone with mobility problems or some elderly.

Convenient location in Guanjuato

Good location with onsite parking - very important in this city. Room was spacious and comfortable, with a good bed. Bathroom was also large and all was clean. Staff was very helpful and restaurant served a good breakfast. Made the brief stay very enjoyable.

Comfortable place to stay in Guanajuato

The Antiguo Vapor is a well-maintained, attractive small hotel that is centrally located in Guanajuato. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is clean and nicely furnished. Definitely a good place to stay.

Hotel céntrico en Guanajuato... Pero....

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, y la limpieza es excelente así como el cuarto, sin embargo, lo que si es de criticarle al hotel es el desayuno que te incluye, que es jugo y pan, sólo tenían jugo de naranja y el pan estaba como pasado, a parte abren muy tarde. Yo viajaba al día siguiente, y hable en la recepción del hotel para comentar esta situación y quedaron formalmente en entregarnos el desayuno a las 7:30, cosa que no sucedió, ya que la empleada no llego, y me pareció muy mal. Creo que deberían mejorar este servicio, o mejor no ofrecerlo de plano, cuando la gente viaja a veces quiere salir temprano del hotel para aprovechar el día, y ellos deberían de estar consientes de esto.

Bonito hotel cerca de todo.

Es un bonito hotel cerca de toda la acción en pleno corazón de Guanajuato, cuenta con estacionamiento propio (casi ningún hotel en esta ciudad. lo tiene) y una super espectacular vista de la cañada, la puesta de sol en su terraza es inenarrable. Habitaciones muy amplias, limpias y confortables; lo único que no les recomiendo en el restaurante pero a pocos pasos del hotel existe una gran oferta gastronómica.

ホテルに車を停めて徒歩で市内観光ができたので、とても便利でした。 外観、内装も日本にはないような装飾が施されており、楽しめました。 歯ブラシが付いていなかったので。持参することをおすすめします。 また布団が薄手だったので、寒い時期は暖かい部屋着をお持ちください。

Perfect Location

Hotel Antiguo Vapor is in the heart of GTO. The room is awesome, old look and feel which was pretty cool. The view of the city from the roof deck is probably one of the best views of the city. The hotel is centrally located near the mercado and walking distance to pretty much everything GTO has to offer. It was a hike to visit the mummy museum but it was a nice day which made it go by quickly. It also allowed us a chance to see more of the city.

Nice hotel, but some problems

When I ordered this room I did a lot of search and ended up with this room since it was relatively close to "everything" and they had a big room with one king and one queen bed. Perfect for family of four. I don't know what I did but obviously did this search with only two adults and no kids. So when I got to the hotel they charged 500 pesos extra for each of my 4 and 9 year old girls. I know it was my mistake, but I have never paid so much extra for my girls before. So it ended up quite expensive compered to other hotels. I would probably choose another one. Then when we wanted to take a shower in the morning it was no warm water! I called the reception and told them and was told to wait a couple of minutes. So the guests have to call the reception to get warm water! Except for this couple of things it is a nice hotel with a good location.
