We boked our order when we saw in the site its 28 km from us. When we understand it ,we tried to cancell but we couldn't ritch your costemer service and the chat with you didnt help. Tried calling servie the nubber send us to flight information. We desided to drive 83 k to the jufa hotel. When we arived at 20:50 they told us that thier is no dinner. Even that it was inclouded in the price. They send us to a local resturant but it was cloused.we went to sleep after they gave us braed and butter. We went to the rooms one of tham was not clean after last costumer. We had to go back to lobby to ask to get a clean room.

No warm or hot water, very cold room without any heating, nothing worked and there was no possibility to solve problem immediately, we must slept in our jackets.. Hotel didnt inform us before arrival that they have problem with water, if they would tell us at least 2 hours before our arrival(they already knew it happened), we could rebook to another hotel. We didnt get this information even during check-in, we just found out by ourselfs when we wanted to get shower, personal told us mechanic should come next day to check the problem, it sounded like problem will be solved just maybe. Hotel appologised but no willing to discount in this case the original price for night, even for this really uncomfortable staying. We needed to find another hotel next day. Personal was nice but that's all, service not so great, I have done request for the room during booking and I had to ask on reception again as request box wasnt probably read. Breakfast okay, room nice but little simple, we couldnt even borrow kettle to the room with answers it could be dangerous.

Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Leider gab es keinen Kühlschrank, den haben wir aber, bei nur einem Tag Aufenthalt, auch nicht gebraucht. Das Frühstück war super 👍👍

Very nice hotel

A nice hotel in a very pleasant and quiet location in Grunau. The same lady was on reception / bar duty throughout my stay and couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel is set back from the road and has largish garden and plentiful parking. Views around the hotel are fabulous and add to the relaxing environment. The room itself was relatively basic but didn’t really lack anything - except maybe tea / coffee facilities (although in fairness a couple of complimentary small bottles of water were provided at the start of a he stay). Breakfast was typically continental. Dinner was buffet style but with a decent amount of choice. In summary, a very pleasant hotel and I nice place to spend a few days.

JUFA means child friendly

Hotel was located with spectacular views. Evening meal was a help yourself buffet and changed every night. When booking didn't realise JUFA stands for children and first night was a few young screaming children in hotel. Rooms were very clean but had to ask for more pillows (wasn't a problem asked AM in room when returned in evening). Wifi was slow which makes it hard if on buisness trip

Spacious rooms but not much beyond that

We stayed here when traveling through Austria. The hotel was located in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains, and our room was spacious, clean and beautiful. However, the staff were not particularly friendly and did not go out of their way to meet our needs, both at check in and during breakfast. For example, we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for the buffet to get refilled with food, and my order for gluten free bread only arrived after I had finished my entire meal. The sauna, though beautiful, was filled with children and there was no place to sit.

Un break interessante

Hotel sperduto in una vallata di montagna, con prati intorno, torrente poco distante, ampie possibilità di passeggiate. Nello standard Jufa, hotel basico, senza fronzoli, quasi un ostello, ma pulito, con personale attento e amichevole, buona colazione. Un ottimo break dopo una giornata lavorativa. A breve distanza (in auto) alcuni interessanti ristoranti.
