"We stayed in the historic building in March and absolutely loved the charm and character of the property. The building itself is beautiful and added a unique touch to the experience. During our stay we really enjoyed spending time at the beach, relaxing by the pool and hot tub, sitting on the swings, and having meals poolside. It made for a wonderful, relaxing weekend getaway. The only small downside was that the room didn’t have a smart TV or the built-in charging stations we’ve become used to in many newer facilities. If you rely on those, it’s a good idea to bring your own full charger setup for phones, tablets, etc. That said, it actually encouraged us to spend less time in the room and more time enjoying everything the property had to offer. In the end, that turned out to be a much better way to spend the weekend. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return. "

"The room was clean and well laid out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a little cold outside to use the pool so I stayed out. Our room 214 had thin walls since people in room 212 was very upset about something and woke us up with the commotion. Overall it was a good stay."
