"The rooms are dated. They are clean, but could be cleaner. The shower head needs cleaning and around the windows. The beds were too small for two adults."

"The staff were friendly however they charged me for my service dog. When I brought it to the attention of staff the next morning she said a credit had to be done by the manager who was the person who checked us in and she would leave her a note. I never heard anything from her explaining why there would not be a credit. The breakfast was nothing special having the standard powder eggs, the waffle mix was in small containers and empty on day one, the biscuits were hard as a rock on the bottom. The room was comfortable and clean with partial ocean view with a small balcony."

"Not too bad of a hotel, room was clean. Our window leaked while it was raining. Walked in to check in and had to wait about 5 min before someone came to the counter to help us. Could easily hear people talking from our room, could smell food from the neighbors room, a little over priced for how it was (I understand it’s on the beach but at least update the place to make up for the price). Also didn’t realize we were having to pay for parking till we got there (hotel.com did not include that in the listing) Still crazy to me for having to pay for parking tho."

"This location is under renovation and the 2nd floor has numerous rooms with plastic up to doors, floor has paper placed down to cover wood flooring, room 211 had very old sleep sofa which hasn't been cleaned due to dirt and pretzels found whwen opening, very old blanket on king size bed. Unable to retrieve money back from Expedia..spent exactly 8hrs in room: checked in at 2pm and out at 10pm same day. Strongly suggest other options of stay."

"Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was a little outdated but overall nice and clean. The pool was very nice and well-kept. I would definitely stay here again."

"The location can’t be beat - right on the ocean, right on the bike path, two restaurants on either side so you don’t have to drive anywhere if you don’t want to. We have stayed here several times, however on this trip we noticed how rundown the property is looking. Lots of stains, chips, and scuffs on the walls, lots of rust on steps and railings, shower looking old and dingy, dirty carpeting (the water in the floor of the shower would turn black when you stepped in if you had been barefoot in the bedroom). The whole place needs a refresh."

"The hotel was clean and centrally located for our vacation to Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island. Really, the only big complaint was breakfast was subpar. The only decent thing was making your own waffles. Bacon was paper-thin and greasy. Egg bites were less than flavorful. You get the idea. Some fresh pastries would have been nice. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower were empty. Luckily, we bring our own, but these should be checked. Staff was super friendly and overall a good stay."
