I traveled to St Lucia over Christmas to visit my brother. I was hoping to stay in a hotel/hostel near Rodney Bay. I saw the google map picture of Caribbean Breeze on Expedia and thought the location is good so I booked this place. I was wrong. The map picture is inaccurate - in the map it looks like it is on the highway, but it's not even close. If you don't have a vehicle, the only way to travel between Caribbean Breeze and Rodney Bay is to use a taxi driver. Also, not every taxi driver knows the place - only the drivers provided by the owner know how to get there.
One night we were in Rodney Bay and wanted to get back to CB. We called the taxi driver but he was not available. We waited at the bus station for about half an hour, no bus came. We decided to walk. It took us another half and hour to walk all the way up there.
Besides the location, the guest house itself is nice, except the wifi didn't work. We called the guest house representative but she said it was the Christmas long weekend and the internet company was closed, so there was nothing they can do.
Due to my bad luck about the wifi and bad planning (didn't check the exact location before booking), I didn't enjoy my stay, which is a pity because the room did look cozy.
