"Im writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay, which resulted in a highly disappointing and disrupted experience for my family. I had specifically booked a room at this location for a night away with my children, as well as to meet friends. A key reason for choosing your property was the advertised amenities, including a pool, exercise room, and breakfast. Unfortunately, upon arrival after a three-hour drive, we encountered multiple serious issues that were not acceptable for a paying guest. To begin with, the hotel was extremely difficult to locate due to unclear signage, which initially directed us to an unrelated location. Upon finally arriving, we discovered that the hotel was under construction. The interior was filled with a visible cloud of drywall dust and a strong musty odor, creating an uncomfortable and concerning environment.  At check-in, we were informed that the pool and exercise room were both closed, and that breakfast would not be provided as expected but instead offered in a bag. These were key amenities that directly influenced my booking decision and their unavailability was not communicated in advance.  When we entered our room, the issues continued. The bathroom door would not close, and both my son and I began to feel unwell, likely due to the poor air quality caused by the construction dust. At that point, it became clear that the conditions were not suitable for us to stay, and my children expressed that they did not feel comforta"

"Whirlpool and hot tub great get the sun in the afternoon.. dinner at restaurant was good had some premium liquor for cocktails at bar .. only negative was water pressure in shower fine for quick wash but wouldn’t have been for doing hair . Loved our stay would stay again "

"The room was fine; however, the property is 'sketchy'. I can only hope that properties like Shenstone can improve and offer medium priced accomodation in an area that badly needs it. With non-refunable reservations, I gave up my $$, to stay in a place that was cleaner."

"The hotel is located in a beautiful area, and we had a lovely view of the bay from our room. The room itself was very well equipped and comfortable. The only issue we had was with cleanliness. Some of the white towels had yellow stains, and the lower shelves of the bedside tables were dusty and sticky. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved. "

"Property is messy. (Renovations?) Check in was slow. Our room was clean but had strange smell. Beds were comfortable. Sleep interrupted by noisy neighbors twice."
