"Rita was a wonderful hostess! The location is away from the crowds and the view is beautiful. The mule path down to varenna is easy to navigate and not too difficult. It is stone and fairly steep though- wear your sneakers! There is a complimentary shuttle back up from the town after 7pm, which is easy to find and use. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast included eggs, pastries, pancakes, and house-made cappuccino. The pool was perfection at the end of a very hot day!"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were fantastic—so welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit. Everything was great overall, and I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. My only small issue was that the shower was a bit too small. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I would happily stay here again!"

Every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome, always greeting us with a smile, taking the time to chat, and going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was the reception team helping with local recommendations, the restaurant and bar staff delivering outstanding service, the kitchen team producing delicious food every day, or the housekeeping and wellness staff keeping everything immaculate, everyone contributed to making our holiday unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, especially Rossana. Your kindness, professionalism and genuine warmth made us feel less like guests and more like family. "Really well located hotel just outside central Bergamo but only 10 minutes to central car parks. And 10 minutes drive to airport! Very helpful staff, and you have a shopping centre and spa attached to back of hotel. Car parking is easy in the underground car park with limited spaces. Right next to a small suburb train station as well. The area is still being developed but very quiet and clean. Worth paying a visit to the Rooftop Restaurant which is amazing (we had Sushi) and also nearby restaurant La Malga which is great for lunch with home cooked Italian food. Would definitely recommend and we will come back when in the area"

"We stayed here for four nights —-booked two rooms for our family. Some of the highlights include: 1) great, fantastic location which is short walking distance to ferry, shops and restaurants. 2) we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and beautiful swimming pool every day. 3) super comfortable beds and well air conditioned rooms. 4) staffs at the breakfast, pool and concierge are super attentive, warm and helpful. The concierge booked a private boat tour for us and provided useful advices on day trips and ferry schedules. The only and the biggest low light was that the casual restaurant (La Goletta) was super disappointing. The food was boring, plain, and poorly prepared . The restaurant waiters were cold and stern. Given the price, the restaurant felt way below our expectation. Recommend to stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere."
