"I wish we had more reasons to stay near the Briar Inn because we would be regulars! We only needed one night in order to attend a few graduation events and the Briar Inn far exceeded our expectations. I could tell from the Expedia listing that it was going to be a quaint little place to stay outside of Salem, but it was really exceptional. The fine details in the rooms (snacks to purchase, complimentary bottled water, working fireplace, etc) really made this stay perfect. The bathrooms are gorgeous (separate large tub!) and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The staff are so very friendly! It's obvious they take pride in where they work. If we don't get another reason to drive up that way again soon, we might just book a weekend in the summer to enjoy the pool and local area :)"

"This was our first time at this property. It was not during peak season so I don't know how it gets during peak season but as far as I know, the hotel was full as it's not that large. The room was wonderful. We were in room 12. I had a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean and the beach our own walkway to the beach. The temperature in the room is comfortable. We had full access to the AC. The refrigerator and the little kitchen area was quite handy. The basket for breakfast was a nice touch and all in all we had a great time here and will definitely come again."
