Great getaway in Emory

We rented the family suite. While it could do with some updating, the suite was incredibly spacious. It was clean and tidy, offering a nice living area for a good sized group to visit and catch up. There is a very handy kitchenette with a full size fridge along with two large bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. Both bedrooms were very very very spacious. I am confident we will stay here again and again for family gatherings.

My buddy and I had a guided fishing trip Wed. morning at 7:00 on lake Tawakoni. We decided we would get a room close to the lake. We both got a good nights sleep and made it to the lake in plenty of time. The room was clean and quite---the only bad thing was their road is in really bad shape.

Overall our stay was great like usual when we stay at this place. The only issues I had this time which I have never had before was quite a few knats in the sink area and we had a lot of trouble getting into our room it was like the lock was messed up or something.
