"Staff very helpful and friendly "

"Recently stayed at The Great George Hotel and the hotel is a gem in the city of Charlottetown. The hotel is perfectly located and walkable to many attractions, restaurants and bars in the city. The location could not have been better! The hotel offers free breakfast and a happy hour complimentary drinks in the evening which are nice touches. Free cookies at reception are a little plus as well. Our room was connected to the main building but had an entrance from the outside. If visiting in the cold months it might be something to consider to ask for a main building, access to the lobby room. The one downside was the parking. There is parking but the main parking lot fills up early in the evening. If you plan to come back to the hotel later at night be prepared to have no parking. We had to inquire with the front desk and park elsewhere further away which was not ideal and took time to find out where else we could park. "

"The staff were professional and friendly to a fault, especially the breakfast personnel. Our room was cleaned promptly every day and the reception people were very informed as to what was available in the area. We will stay here again!"

"The check-in was a breeze and the front desk person couldn’t have been kinder. She helped me map out the easiest route to my room so I didn’t have to trek outside in the cold, rainy weather. Huge win. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and I have to give a special shout-out to the wonderful lady running the breakfast area. She was truly AMAZING and had the whole space running like a warm, welcoming machine. My room was spotless and really well set up. The separated bedroom in the queen suite was a total life saver. Being able to close the door and enjoy some true quiet time made all the difference. As a neurodivergent person, the heavy curtains and solid doors made it feel like I had my own perfect little sanctuary. And a big nod to the gentleman working the front desk on my checkout day. He was calm, helpful, and somehow managed the entire front desk area plus a rush of guests finishing breakfast with total poise and professionalism. It was impressive. Highly recommend this hotel. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy being downtown without being right in the middle of the chaos."
