Great River Road hotel rooms a the Red Lion

"Location is great."

"Room was clean and spacious. Also we had a beautiful view of the river. Hotel was busy the weekend we stayed because it was Halloween. But still enjoyed our trip!! Location of the Marriott was close to Bourbon St. and great restaurants. "

"Did not have breakfast at hotel - went down the street to eat Veignets- did have a burger one evening. Waiter was Great burger ok. Staff was excellent in every respect always helpful. "

"The room was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant was excellent. The hotel's location was perfect for walking to all area attractions "

"This room was TINY. There is no shelf in the bathroom to set your toiletry bag. The elevators were not working except for ONE for the entire hotel. At times, we waited almost 15 minutes for the elevator for the 6th floor. I am not even sure the bed was an actual queen-size bed. This hotel was NOT worth the $400 a night we paid. The bar and restaurant service was SLOW, and the coffee shop was very expensive. Overall I would not stay here again. "
