"Hotel is in a great location and all staff were great! The rooms are somewhat updated and a good size, but the carpets and bathroom tile were stained badly. Bedding was far from luxurious although the bed itself was comfortable. The elliptical in the fitness center was also broken. I was surprised this hotel was rated an 8.8."

"We expected at least one visit by housekeeping during our 3-night stay. They did not come once. We had to seek our fresh towels ourselves. Disappointing."

"The front desk manager was rude. I had called earlier and explained that someone in our party could not go past a certain floor. A man told me that he couldn’t do about it deal with it and walked away. The person in the party had a medical condition we offered to show him the papers. He didn’t care and he walked away. If y’all have cameras, you can review it. It happened Friday night, May 15. We checked in about 630 to 7 PM."

"Beautiful hotel with a rich history. The location was great. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and interesting shops. Valet parking only, so be prepared to pay a daily parking fee if you’re driving there. Onsite restaurant was very good. $95 per person for a 4 course meal, if you’d like that option. We don’t drink, but there’s a a really nice historical bar, onsite, if you’re interested. The room was very nice, but on the smaller side since it’s an older historic hotel. No microwave in case you needed to heat something up. Had a small fridge and safe. Bathroom was small, but clean. The shower had strong water pressure, which was nice. Not a great view from the window, but it’s in the middle of the city, so that’s to be expected. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice, safe hotel in a great location."

"We really liked this hotel. The room is spacious and clean. The only thing (which we let the front desk know about when we left) is that the safe in our room didn’t work. The only recommendation we would suggest overall is this: since there is no cleaning service unless you stay for 2 nights, why not install another towel rack in the spacious bathroom so that 2 people can dry their towels for second-day use? There is only one towel bar that can fit the bill. Yet there is plenty of space in the master bath to have another towel rack. A simple thing, but would go a long way to encourage the use of towels for more than one day."
