"Pleasant experience because of the kindness and helpful staff. Will recommend. Not perfect but clean but could do a little more with the washroom, specially the counter in the bathroom."
"There were 6 of us (2 adults and 4 kids ages 10-17) and we fit nicely in the two queen suite. I love that the couch isn’t a fold out, that it has a trundle, so the two kids using it had their own spaces. Pool was really fun. We don’t LOVE hotel breakfasts so my opinion on it is biased but they had a good variety. Would definitely recommend. There are also a good amount of quick bite restaurants in the parking lot (walkable). Staff was very friendly."
"Hotel is clean, but a little rough in areas. Bathtub area needs new sealant around edges, looks unclean without some refurbishing. Mattresses should be replaced, not comfortable. Pillows are more like cushions than bed pillows. Breakfast is very basic. Okay for budget hotel in the area. Staff seemed lovely."
"Bed was comfortable, room was very clean, beautiful river right out back that was lovely to walk by, breakfast was typical but good. Only problem we had was that our coffee machine in the room wasn’t working…had to wait until we got downstairs to grab a coffee. No big deal. Would stay here again!"
"Booked at O’Haires after we seen a video of the dip and sip mermaid bar. As you can see from the photos the hotel is older, but if you’re looking for a memorable stay I 100% recommend staying here. The staff were friendly during check in, and helpful with providing us some recommendations in the area. Our two hotels rooms were “retro” but spotless, no odours, no stains. The sip and dip bar was packed, but we were able to grab a booth within minutes and was definitely a neat experience and something very unique to the property. The alien themed speak easy in the basement had a more relaxed vibe and great drinks! Everything about in this property was reasonably priced, well maintained and definitely a highlight on our road trip. If you can look past the retro charm of an older property and embrace the uniqueness of this place and its offerings you’ll have a blast!"
"I really liked this unique property and would stay again. I had some trouble with the unstaffed front desk, as it was my first time doing a computerized self-check-in, and I missed my assigned room number while I was fumbling to code a key card. The secure parking was good once I figured out how to use it. This was easily the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, but it was sufficient. Very convenient to be attached to a nice pub where you can bring drinks back to your room. Very quiet."
