The rooms were clean however we didn’t like the location as it was situated on a busy road and train tracks in the back of the hotel. We did like the keyless entry and the staff assisted when there was a delay with obtaining the code to enter our room.

We found a cockroach in our room but aside from that everything was really clean! The hot tubs were great but there was a fire ban in the area so we were unable to use the sauna or the fire pit.

Receiving door entry code at 3pm made our stay efficient and smooth! Loved it! Perfect location as we competed in the MultiSport Canada Bracebridge Sprint Triathlon relay, this morning. It was a short 14 minute drive to Bracebridge. Would definitely stay again next summer! 10 thumbs up!!

Rooms are spotless and thoughtfully laid out. Everything you need is there. We stayed there two years ago and I assumed it was new then, but even now it still looks and feels brand new. The rooms feel clean and fresh. I’ve stayed at bigger expensive hotels that don’t look this clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Love the contactless check in. We needed extra towels, so I emailed the hotel and within 5 minutes a cheerful woman was at my door with them. The rooms were quiet, but even with the occasional road noise it was still more peaceful than a hotel with people constantly slamming doors in the hallway. We look forward to staying here again.

When you first pull up to the property, you may not expect much, but once we got into the room, our expectations were definitely exceeded. We stayed in a double room on the first floor. The room was extremely clean, smelled fresh, and had clearly been recently updated. The finishes were very well done, and although the bathroom was small, it was clean and functional. The only thing worth noting is that there are active train tracks directly behind the property. A train does pass by a couple of times a day, and one around 11 p.m. startled and woke our kids. If you’re not a light sleeper, this likely won’t be an issue, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or use white noise. I hadn’t seen this mentioned in the other reviews I read, so I thought it was worth noting. That said, it would not personally be a dealbreaker for us. Overall, check-in was easy, communication was good, and the property itself is very well done. The back area is also beautiful, peaceful, and a great place to relax. We had a very positive stay overall.

Absolutely. I’d make that the standout part of the review because it really shows the level of service: We had such a wonderful stay at Stay Inn Muskoka this past weekend! From the moment we arrived, the service was amazing. A special thank you to Jonathan at reception, who was so welcoming, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Ingrid, the cleaner, also deserves a huge shoutout. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The service honestly went above and beyond. We simply sent a text asking if the sauna could be started for us and they took care of it. JUST WOW. That is NEXT LEVEL service! I’ve honestly received less personalized service at Marriott and other luxury properties. We also really appreciated how much was available at reception for guests to use, including robes, firewood and fire starters. The staff were incredibly trusting and made us feel very welcomed and at home. The property itself was extremely quiet and peaceful, and the backyard space and amenities were such a great bonus. There are two hot tubs, a sauna, a fire pit and an incredibly comfortable hammock. Everything was set up perfectly for relaxing and enjoying the Muskoka atmosphere. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. And honestly, if you happen to come across a bad review about this place, blink twice 😂 I genuinely feel like it must be a one off because our experience was completely different. Everything was clean, peaceful and well taken care of. Highly recommend!
