"The room was nice and clean! The food is really good. The problems we had were a lot of waiting for things. Really rude male bartender who wore sunglasses and acted like anyone ordering from him was an issue and basically ignored us at one point until another patron told him we were there first. (Mind you, we were two moms and two 9 year old girls…not like annoying drunks or something). The longer haired bartender was amazing and so accommodating. Things just moved slowly. Finding a towel at the hotel side of the pool at nighttime was impossible. The place is set up for a great resort…but just a few things that could be fixed."

"My wife and I have stayed at Banana Bay annually for the last twenty-five years, and after trying a more upscale property, we decided to return to Banana Bay this July to celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary, and reserved a room with a balcony overlooking the Marina and Gulf. At check-in we had only one available room choice; with a parking lot view and no balcony. To say we were greatly disappointed, is an understatement. That said, the front desk was able to secure our favorite room upon it being available the next day, and we had a memorable vacation enjoying our balcony and view of the Marina and Gulf for a 26th time."

"Nice place, Food and drink quality did not match the price. Pina coloda from a premix machine for $18. Not good. The bartenders provided good customer service. The golf cart driver (resort transportation) was not very plesant. Maybe he was having a bad day. Said good eve and thanks for the ride with no response. Would i stay again, probably not."
