"When I booked my NYC trip, I was confident that my stay at Hotel Henri was going to be good based on the photos etc that I saw online. However, I did see some reviews that said things like ‘hotel staff aren’t available for help beyond 10pm etc’ and that made me a bit worried since I was checking in close to midnight. However, I reached out to the hotel via email prior to my trip and was reassured promptly that everything will be in order etc. I appreciated how efficient the communication was even before I arrived. The staff were very kind and helpful especially Kyo and Gady! Shoutout to them! The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s close to a subway station (even though I did not use the subway while in the city), it’s close to all the shopping stores and avenues, the area feels safe and while it is busy, it’s not super chaotic which I appreciated. The room was VERY spacious (which based on my research is quite uncommon for NYC). It had a fridge, coffee maker, iron, and all the other necessities, except for a microwave. However, I was told that there is a microwave available for use on the ground floor as well as water dispenser etc. The room was also very clean, and housekeeping did a great job daily. The room was very well designed with a wardrobe as well, and the lighting could be adjusted which was so nice. One of the small lights in my room did not work but that did not bother me at all. My only negative would be that the walls between the rooms are very thin! "

"good hotel for the price but annoying check in process"

"Please be aware that leaving your bags at the cloak costs you $5 per bag & no cash!!! This is a historical establishment & there are so many old charms all over the hotel. If you are into history, check out Lower Lobby before the gym. They have so many pictures from the past. It was fun. Some rooms are getting renovated & I “upgraded” to a newly renovated room. I didn’t request, but I got “city view” room & I could see Staples from the window. Also it was very noisy. I used earplugs every night. Great location right next to Penn station. "

"The staff at this hotel were amazing. Staff helped us with whatever was needed. The hotel is well cared for & inviting. The staff at the marketplace were not very accommodating & prices were super high for what was purchased. The room was great & the housekeeping staff provided many things we needed. However, after two of the 4 night stay, we didn’t receive a room cleaning or weren’t asked about it. Weird. The location is exceptional & made traveling the city very convenient. "

"Great location, easy check in/out, no coffee in the (non-suite) rooms and you have to buy it in the lobby which is a bit of a pain, especially if the barista is on break when you get downstairs. Rooms are small, but efficient and tidy. Perfect for a solo traveler. "
