If you can park closer to Thunderbird and walk to check in, that may be easier. If you arrive in the early evening, there will likely be"

"Great location inside the park, parking was good. place was run down as im sure its had better years. hallways had a funky smell with old worn out carpet. bed was uncomfortable but maybe that was just me. wont be back"

"Was on property for purpose of 50 anniversary of our 1976 GC Hang Gliding flight...5 pilots. The young man at the front desk was exceptional in checking us in & out. Wish I could remember his name. Did not use property amenities or restaurant this trip. Room was very clean & better then I'd remembered from past stays. This is my favorite accommodation on the South Rim."
