"This is a basic hotel in the park. Clean and we were able to drive down the road 3 minutes and watch the sunrise. We were able to see sunset and sunrise in the park. If that’s important to you great, If you’re not doing that and you’re looking for activities like pool, etc I think you would be just fine staying outside the park. It’s probably about 20 minutes to other places. I think if you come to the Grand Canyon, you want to see it. The pool is at any hotel."
