"Our room was perfectly clean and the decor was quite nice. The beds were super comfortable and because we were away from the main tourist area there was no outdoor noise. We had one lovely meal in the East restaurant where the service was timely, professional and the food very good. I would highly recommend The Spencer and stay there again. Oh! And the breakfast was tasty."

"The hotel was clean unfortunately there was no air conditioning however the room has 2 fans. We were at the front of the property and works on opposite building started at 7am and were very loud so no chance of a relaxing lie in. The hotel doesn’t hold a great varied menu we had 2 pizza’s which were quite doughy. The gym and pool were well worth a visit. Very friendly knowledgeable reception staff."

"Room was great. It had everything we need... Other than cold air. The AC wouldn't come on the whole stay. Not even a fan would blow so the room got stagnant. I did try to have front desk to fix it. In a what's app msg they said they'd "reset it on their end"; nothing happened and no follow up. Unrelated to take - the signature scent in the lobby is really nice but it's so thick in the air I couldn't sit in any of the lobby, restaurant areas bc it gave me a headache. Not all ppl are sensitive to scents (I wouldn't even consider that of myself but it so SO strong)."

"This is a hidden gem that should be rated as a 5 star. The rooms were excellent, modern and luxurious. The furnishings in the room were exquisite. The bar area was excellent and the roof top area was beautiful, with excellent breakfast. Also, the location was very good; a short walk to Merrion Square and Trinity College. The only thing missing are proper parking options."
