Breakfast was so plentiful and delicious even fresh orange juice from the orchard , warm pastries, fresh bread and cheese and tomatoes, homemade marmalade and a delicious giant cannolo.Lovely stay!! And sweet sweet dog Fiona !!"

"Spent 3 nights at the Hotel San Michele. Location is very convenient and a short walk to town. We used the valet parking which worked out great for us. Our room which looked into the courtyard was very clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Hopefully we will get a chance to return. "

Three minor comments on the property (1) the pool was very cold - too cold for our kids - would be good if there was temperature control (2) a regular shuttle into town would be good, we hired a car but if there was a regular shuttle on an evening it would be better; (3) the beach resort was a long way, I wouldn’t bother with this if I was managing the hotel - it was wasn’t worth the effort and again the shuttle times are extremely limited, would feel trapped down there without a car."
