"We loved our stay at Hotel Alpspitz. We booked two rooms and both were so comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. Very room and great mountain views. Parking was nice and the breakfast spread was great every morning. Felix was a great host, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again if we visit the region again. "Great Family friendly hotel. but beware they are not equipped for very high temperatures. Made it difficult to sleep with out any fans or AC. Not the hotels fault."

"The hotel is gorgeous and in a fantastic location for the castles. The restaurant had very good food; welcome drinks, included breakfast (great variety of breads, meats, cheeses, sausage, bacon, eggs, juices, coffee, MIMOSAS!). The hotel staff was lovely. They were all kind and helpful and most spoke very good English. The only slight complaint I have is the bed. The linens had a rough texture, the blankets were heavy and thick (I think they may have been weighted), the bed had a metal bar around the mattress (which I banged my feet, knees, etc off several times), the pillows were not substantial. Once I got to sleep, I slept decently but it was hard getting to sleep. Otherwise, it was clean, spacious and very well kept."

"Great location in the centre of town but that means you may have to park in the public packing garage rather than at the hotel. They do have an underground car park but it was full when we arrived. Not too much hassle though and a slightly discounted rate for the 24 hours. Other than that the hotel was exactly what we needed for the night, clean, comfortable and cool."

"This was a fun place. Apparently it was a hospital in "the war" and has some quirks like an occasional double door and sort of a tunnel to the pool spa areas. Pretty (my wife says beautiful), well kept. good breakfast, nice people. Also walking distance to town. Like many other lovely older places we stayed in Germany/Austria, no air conditioning. Convenient on site parking."
