"So from the moment we arrived to be greeted by two smiling faces on reception set the tone really. This is the way to greet guests...This carried on throughout our stay and was greatly received.. Hotel in perfect location. 11 minute walk to Bus Stop 12 for some tour pick ups. 17 minute walk from bus terminal once you have arrived on the bus from the airport. (Recommended as taxi expensive from airport and even for short journeys) 20 ish minute walk to harbour for other tours on water (whale watching or Northern Lights) Room was cosy shall we say but had everything we needed including a fridge which came in very handy. Had a problem with the TV but that was dealt with quickly by replacing it. In house restaurant and also hairdressers and Starbucks just off main reception for pastries etc. Bonus supermarket 1 minute walk is about the cheapest place about that we found for our baguettes and sandwiches to take on tours. Very fresh, clean, modern hotel and would stay again. "

"Amazing hotel. Did lots of research before i went and this was by far the best of all 3-4 star hotels. Front desk very helpful and bfast options were great. Combination of hot and cold entrees, with pastries and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea and fruit juices also included. Location also very good. Close but not too close to DT crowd. Close to multiple bus stops for tours and public buses. Lots of shops and food choices and hlemmer Matholl couple of steps from front door. Onsite restaurant has a 2 for 1 deal for lunch during weekdays. Awesome deal considering food prices in iceland. Rooms were perfect. Cleaned thoroughly...the cleaning staff even wiping down door handles and doors etc of the room. Enough space for 2 and luggages. Nothing to complain about. "

It was a birthday trip and the woman at the reception had delivered an incredible mouse cake to my room for my wife and I to celebrate. Top notch service. Thank you!"
