Friendly welcome, but the room was not as described (small shower instead of bathroom), the outdoor seating area was cramped & unappealing, I had a car parked outside my bedroom window all night that seemed to be getting more attention than the average celebrity, and the fridge sounded like iit was suffering from emphysema. A unique experince, but not quite of the kind I was hoping for!

The guest house is in a lovely area with fantastic views. The individual rooms have outside entrances and patios with table and chairs. Our room had a large comfortable king bed and twin bed, large clothes cabinet, television, air conditioning, full size refrigerator, microwave, etc. The bathroom was adequate size with nice shower head, hot water and water pressure. It also had secure parking, and large pool area and separate shaded outdoor cooking area with plenty of tables and chairs. It was beautiful. The only downside is having air conditioning being shut off in the middle of the night. It was super hot at this time. So, it would have been nice to lounge by the pool and take a refreshing dip in the sunshine. We tried but someone needs to clean up the pet dog’s poop since the odor is foul and to clean the pool since it is dirty. If you don’t want to use this area, then it is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Thank you.

Fantastic place we'll visit again!

Our family/work trip to PE had us stopping overnight in Graaff-Reinet. Aan Die Oewer Guest House was a great, spacious stay for our family of three. The unit was clean, had more than enough space and was an awesome stop over on a long trip. We'll definitely be returning!

We overnighted here. Little disappointed that our room neither had a fridge or a cupboard (our friends, who were next door, had both!) The wifi code is on the back of the door - took us a while to find it! Not sure how secure the parking is, we closed the gate to the parking when we retired for the night, but it wasn't locked! However, perfect place for an overnight stop, tables/chairs and braai area to relax after a long drive.

Ein nettes und freundliches Guest house.

Wir hatten eine keine Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern. Das guest house liegt ruhig in einem Wohngebiet mit Blick auf die Berge. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, lediglich der Kühlschrank im Zimmer mit Einzelbetten hat nachts immer wieder störende Geräusche von sich gegeben.

Perfect for Cambdeboo National Park

We had booked the 2 bedroom cottage Eland and everything was fine. Only WIFI is a bit week. Very nice pool area and very friendly people. Nice furniture and equipment.
