"Room was quiet and clean. Hotel is older and could use upgrades, but is well maintained enough that is be even much of a tight thought. Beds comfy, good shower, clean. The gentlemen at front desk was lovely. Tavern was great. Although I asked a girl who worked there if that was the Alamo right next door, and she had NO IDEA. I was a little dumbfounded, but that speaks to that generation and not the hotel. Parking is expensive and added an extra 59 a night. We tried to self park but the lot was trying to charge us even more. The valet guy was new and didn't know about the self park. Coffee was ok, didn't have decaf unless you ordered the espresso, which was not very good. It did have a Coffee maker in the room. Walgreens was a 10 minute walk. Nice area, very tourist but this hotel is right smack dab in the middle of it all. Excellent location and I would stay again."
