"There was a mix up with this property. They don’t take Credit Cards, only cash. The proprietor was very kind and accommodating and made an exception. The unit was on the 4th and 5th floor, no elevator which is typical for this area. Nonetheless, it was a long hike with our luggage. "We were very happy with our stay in this apartment. Andro and his family are lovely people. Andro picked us up from the ferry, and gave us a good orientation to the apartment and the area. His brother drove us back to the ferry. Like most places in Croatia, there is a steep incline and many steps to get to the apartment. "walking distance. My only regret is that a balcony room wasn’t available. We had 3rd and beautiful view of beach/ocean but no balcony. Owner/manager was very pleasant. My only complaint was the dryer taking quite a long time to dry clothes but other than that, definitely worth every dime. Recommend travel to Omiš for water/land excursions (15 minutes away). "

"Great place to stay in Split. Near Supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Area has a very “local” feel with prices for food and drink in the area being much cheaper than in the old town. "We had a great stay at the Marvie Hotel & Health. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. We ordered room service for lunch and it was also tasty and was delivered quickly. The spa facilities were clean and well appointed. We had an issue with the air conditioning going out in our room on our last night, but the staff quickly resolved the issue by moving us to a different room. The check in and check out experience were smooth. The location of the hotel was quiet, and it was nice to be located away from the more touristy areas near Diocletian's Palace and the cruise port. I would highly recommend this hotel!"
