"Excellent location for exploring the Gjirokastër bazaar — right in the heart of it all. Arriving close to midnight made parking a bit tricky to find at first, but once we explored the bazaar the next day we discovered a convenient parking deck nearby with shortcuts that made getting to and from the hotel with our bags easy. Our room had stunning views of the mountains, the castle, and the city below — an unforgettable setting. Highly recommend!"

Though somewhat tricky to drive to, there is a big parking lot, and it's only a 5 min walk down the hill to the old town and restaurants. The view is stunning, with a lovely garden from which we enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The building is charming and our room was decorated with delightful antique elements."

"This place is as beautiful as it is historical. It was built around the 13th century and has so much charm and character. It is family-owned and operated and they were all so kind and helpful. The rooms are updated with a/c (very welcome during the July heat) and a beautiful, renovated bathroom. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. They also offer a lovely breakfast included with the room. I can’t recommend this place enough. An absolute gem in the heart of Gjirokastër!"

"The staff was amazing at check in. The room was very clean and everything worked. The breakfast was also very good in the morning and the view is spectacular. It’s a little hard to get to, so definitely recommend a taxi coming to and from the city at night."
