"The only issue we had was check in. It was man with longer grayish hair and he just was not friendly. Did not set a very good tone walking in. On the other side of that, every other person that we encountered was very friendly, happy and helpful. "

"We needed a place to stay on our U-Haul trip across the South, and man were we surprised -everything was topnotch - friendly owners to greet you, beautiful common areas, and a large, spacious suite to sleep in. Unfortunately we had an early take-off, thus missing the 9 a.m. full breakfast, but the owner made special scones and had coffee-to-go for us. We'd love to return for a long weekend to enjoy this beautiful historical home again and the adorable town of Jefferson."

"This place is a jewel. Close to the highway which made getting back on the road easy. Clean, safe everything working as it should and a great rate. The only thing that could make this place better would be coffee and maybe some sort of self service breakfast in the room like even pop tarts or mini donuts."
