"easy check in despite limited English of staff. we arrived early in the morning and room was not ready. staff was able to lock our luggage and provided us with a map of the local area. there are some trails to the local shrine. room was great! extremely clean and cosy. outdoor bath and shower were great. checked out the public bath as well which was very clean and well maintained. Seiki dinner was plentyful and delicious breakfast was great free shuttle available to and from the hotel would stay again tomorrow "

"ocation : around 7 min walk to the nearest station Wakayama. 5 min walk to the convenience store . Room: the room is not very big even though WAKAYAMA is not a big city. In general rooms in Osaka and Tokyo got very small room. Breakfast: free breakfast. The quality and variety is better than I expected even though it is free of charge. Staff: nice staff Highly recommended for budget traveller "

"Simply beautiful. The onsen was so wonderful and the community onsen was even better. The staff were absolute professionals and went above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast and dinner were as we expected. I really liked their tempura but i loved the sashimi. My partner loved the beer dispenser:) We feel a got the best deal!"

"The room was very dusty and dirty. It was very tiny! It was very difficult to get the heater to work. I’ve stayed at the sister hotel Midoriya, and I’d highly recommend going there instead! The amenities, rooms, and customer service are much better!"

"Beautiful hotel, the monks attending are really nice, definitely go to the morning ceremony, it is worth it. This is near everything and very centric to all the landmarks nearby. The "beds" are pretty hard since its traditional, but its manageable for a night or two. Meals were really good, definitely don't skip them and take the chance to eat traditional monk meals. "
