The reconstructed Mission Espiritu Santo at Goliad State Park and Historical Site.

Mission Espiritu Santo. I visited here while on a roadtrip to South Padre Island (way South Texas). We were taking a violinist, who lives in New York, but was born and raised just outside South Padre Island in Brownsville.

You cannot take a roadtrip, without stopping along the way. Especially if you are a photographer. We stopped here and the violinist had agreed, to play, inside this Mission, while I videoed him. The acoustics were perfect!

This Mission is AMAZINGLY beautiful! It was all hand painted around the doorway. So many photo opportunities and you can feel the personality and the history of the Mission in the atmosphere. I know that may sound weird, but that is the only way I can explain it. #architecture
