"Stuff is horrible. Front desk is horrible."

"So the plastic Cheerios containers had ants. I brought several of these containers back to my room. I didn’t realize there were ants on them, but when I looked at the bottom of them, there were ants how awful. The kids screaming in the pool was just hideous, and of course, people are going back-and-forth by the door cleaning people not taking care to try and be quiet and kids once again yelling it was quite an awful experience left quite an indelible impression and on my last night there, I just got another hotel room at another place and return the keys and the next day. Just awful. And all the reviews said it was wonderful.,, that’s not true"

"What’s great. Location. What everyone needs to know is (no fault of hotel as they all are) it’s right on a busy road between the hotel and beach"

"This is my second time staying at this location. Clean rooms, nice staff, and a very short walk to the beach and short drive or bike ride to the wharf, Funk Zone, West Beach, and Harbor. I brought my beach cruiser bikes this time and they allowed me to lock them up to the pole (or anywhere I wanted) right in front of my room. The only downside to this second stay was that there was a weird sewage smell in the bathroom and I didn’t think there was anything they could do about it, so I didn’t report it. It wasn’t too bad though, so I managed. I will continue to stay here anytime I visit SB, which is often. "

"Overall very good experience. Close to Amtrak but no noise. Walk to beach and harbor. Easy walk to State St. great breakfast included. "

"A few good things: - small variety of items able to be bought on-site - mini fridge in the room - excellent waffles for breakfast - located near a few convenience stores The negative: - asked for a wakeup call, staff confirmed, no wakeup call came - very difficult to find staff to help after dark - noise carried through the hotel door making it hard to sleep & giving privacy concerns - unable to turn off super bright lights under and behind the bed. Staff at desk confirmed they do not turn off - no door on the shower - no phone or alarm clock present in the room - must be very careful with door tag as one side requests maid service."
