Golden Square Mile Hotels near Montreal

"Hotel was under renovation and falling apart! First room smelled like cigarettes, fan didn’t work in bathroom, tv didn’t work, fan heater in room smelled like it was about to catch fire! Went to the front to address the issues and asked for another room and she tried to hand me an air freshener for the cigarette smell, I said I don’t even smoke I think it’s disgusting and she laughed at me and then gave me another room! In this new room the fan worked but was dangling from the ceiling the ceiling was about to collapse in the bathroom as well, the door knob was falling off to the bathroom and the shower was leaking none stop! One of the elevators broke down and probably good cause the day we left the power went out! We used our phone lights to finish getting ready, to then walk out to a dark hallway on the 8th floor! Stairs here we come and got out of there!! Hotel needs a lot of work!!!!"

"No hydro from 10pm to 7:40 am. Couldn’t shower for hospital appointment! I also had to take the stairs 9 floors down. Elevator was taking me to different floors. Could not reach ground floor. On a good note the staff was very helpful. I just had a bad stay."
