"Our stay at Marriott Jekyll Island was absolutely amazing. We stayed during the off-season, which made the pricing more approachable, but even knowing it can be pricier during peak season—I can confidently say the cost is fully justified.
The breakfast was phenomenal, with an excellent selection and quality that exceeded expectations. The Starbucks in the lobby quickly became a frequent stop for us, and the lobby restaurant served top-notch food as well—everything we tried was fantastic.
We stayed on the bottom floor with an oceanfront balcony, and it could not have been more perfect. The views, the sound of the ocean, and the peaceful atmosphere made the entire stay incredibly restful. The hotel itself was quiet, calm, and relaxing, exactly what we were hoping for.
The kitchen area was a huge plus—fully equipped with hotel-provided pots and pans and perfectly suited for our travel needs. The living room space was very comfortable and well laid out. The only downside worth mentioning is that the pull-out couch was not comfortable at all. After the first night, our son opted to sleep directly on the couch instead, which worked better for him.
Outside amenities were excellent—plenty of outdoor games, fire pits, easy beach access, and a private picnic table area near the sand dunes, which was such a nice touch. The pool and hot tub area were amazing, especially with the bridge across the middle—it really adds to the experience.
All in all, this was an exceptional stay."
