Gold Coast hotel rooms a the Independent

"The staff was wonderful, helpful and welcoming. I didn't eat there because I'm vegan and there was nothing available. The only other negative was the need to pay for parking, even as a guest!"

"This hotel was not worth the cost at all. It’s under renovation, its disorganized, it’s not clean, the manager has attitude, the luggage carts are are falling apart and there’s a separate lift for it that is a major inconvenience, the breakfast is horrible (couldn’t eat it). I think it’s unfair to sell your property at full price when it’s under renovation and without including that information in the listing. Couldn’t wait to get out in the morning , except we had to because there was a fire alarm and we had to leave the building with all our bags in the room. Can’t recommend this property at all when there are so much better hotels in the area (that I’ve stayed at ) and should have made the extra 10 minutes drive to get to"
