"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "We stayed for a week, together with the kids. We ho back home today, and when asking them what their experience was they remark how wonderful their time was at the villa, flagging how nice it was to be in the middle of the nature! "They have 3 villas. Be mindful that it's more like a private house. I had trouble finding the location, the address in Bali is not as exact as I anticipated, so I kind of had to guess the closest landmark when I booked a transport. It is kind of out of nowhere, so I spent 3 days of tranquility. The villa is beautiful, nicely maintained, you have a full kitchen so I could cook from my own grocery. "Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Villa was very clean and the staff we super friendly and accommodating. We stayed 2 nights and drove into Ubud the first night (about 20 minutes by car) and then on Saturday drove to Kintamani. Perfect location for seeing the area. The flower bath and bed arrangements were perfect Will definitely stay there again!"

"Nice property and good sized villas with private pool. Made to order breakfast delivered to villa each morning was very good. Negatives are the location which is pretty far ride into Ubud and the room is very bright in morning due to no shades on the very large windows in primary bedroom. Only an issue if you want to sleep in a bit. "
