"Good: Clean room, comfortable room and friendly staff. Parking on-site. Bad: Wobbly furniture with no backs and no knobs on drawers, no security doors inside the hotel, light switches by the bed did not work. Lift was not working reliably."

"We checked that we could get an accessible room before making the booking. We also stated our requirements on the booking form. The request was on the system but unfortunately not fulfilled. We were told if we didn’t accept the room, we would not be refunded (even though the hotel had admitted fault). We were then taken outside (in the rain), to go through the bar, restaurant and many doors before reaching our room. The rooms are extremely outdated, with no air conditioning and the radiator being on, with no means to turn it off. The tiny gap in the open window did nothing to help the situation. Accessibility for wheelchair users is ridiculous. I can honestly say it is one of the worst, disorganised places we have ever had the misfortune to stay at "

"Hotel is a bit tired. Ok for an overnight stay. Nothing special. Paid for a superior suite which evolved to be very noisy from a party in the conference suite. "

"A brand new but brilliant hotel. All the staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much for them. Only a couple of minor issues, but all bar one were dealt with immediately, ( a tv not working in one of our rooms… but there were two in that room, so no big deal. Food and drinks were fantastic. Our waitress, for both nights, Megan, was an absolute star. ✨ We hope to return. 🙂"

"While the room was large and bedding was good, the room was too warm. The heat is centrally controlled. The air conditioner could not adequately compensate. The place is old and as such floors slant and can be disorienting. Dinner menu was acceptable but not spectacular for the ambiance of the hotel. "
