Hotel Colorado

"The Hotel Colorado has a long and storied history, having been built in the late 1800's and operating more or less continuously since then. It has been lovingly restored, modernized, and maintained and has a charm all its own. The hotel is located within a short walk of the downtown shopping area and public venues. We did find that the in-house restaurant felt a bit limited and overpriced, but our menu selections were tasty and the service was very good. The only knock I had was a rather steep fee for early check-in, which would have been nice after the drive. They did allow us to park in the lot, though, so I give some props for that. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Glenwood Springs."

"I think the parking on site should be included with the hotel and the rental, and shouldn’t be an additional charge. We had to pay for parking in the same lot as the hotel. It was not included. Breakfast was good & had good options. It was a decent location, high traffic"
